In 2009, a destructive typhoon named "Ondoy" hit the Philippines. And even some of our local celebrity homes were affected. One of which is actress, Sylvia Sanchez.
Sylvia and her family had to relocate after their house got struck by the typhoon. They found a perfect area that is not prone to flooding since it is located in a sloping piece of land.
Sylvia and her husband are the master designers of their own home. His husband is the one in charge of the construction while she took care of the house's interiors. In the end, they were able to attain a house perfect for a fresh start.
Their living room is well-lit by a chandelier with well-selected furniture pieces and huge wooden shelves to store Sylvia's prized collections such as porcelain figurines, Swarovski crystal pieces, and glass vases. The actress shared that it is also a great spot for family gatherings and bondings.
The dining area consists of an 8-seater capacity dining table illuminated by chrome pendant lights.
The access to the kitchen is also through the dining area. Sylvia did not placed a divider between the two areas to create more of an essential space.
The kitchen is fully equipped with five-burner cooktop, a staineless range hood, built-in oven, a two door refrigerator and some other pieces of appliances.
Located on the top floor is Sylvia's son, Arjo Atayde's bedroom. It is defined with black, white, and red details fit for a bachelor's dream room. This is also where Arjo and his friends hang out and do sleepovers.
The floor below Arjo's room is actress, Ria Atayde's bedroom. It has a similar set up that is same like his brother's room. It has a walking in closet where she stores her collection of bags. Four or five of which are expensive brands.
The house's veranda provides a perfect spot to hang out with family and friends as it provides a tropical view. It also has a daybed perfect for lounging and relaxing while taking some fresh air.
The veranda functions also as a gym for Arjo since it is where he do his workouts and stores his gym equipments.
