The couple, Richard Gomez and his wife Lucy Torres decided to live in their home in Forbes Park with one major reason, convenience. At first, they were planning to buy a condo unit in Makati, however, their plan did not push thru. Instead, they invested in building a house they can call their own.
Their house is filled with things that each has its own story. Lucy said that the design of their house was a "reflection of them as a couple," since they were the ones who put it together.
Check out their beautiful and spacious home.
The house as seen from the outside is painted white with a sleek black outline that adds simplicity but with a touch of elegance. Gomez's home is surrounded by trees and greenery.
The couple decided to have an open floor plan since according to Richard, he does not want a house that has a lot of partitions. The open layout also gives the house a spacious feel.
The living room area flows freely to other parts of the house and it makes it easier for them to entertain guests. According to their architect, the windows and doors are soundproofed.
The design of their cozy sitting area was based on the taste of both Richard and Lucy that were combined together to achieve this look. Lucy said that she wants guests to feel at home and not be intimidated.
They also have a second living room located on the second floor just a few steps away from their main living room.
The dining area consists of a 10-seater glass dining table accented by the blue dining chairs. It is also perfect for entertaining guests.
They also placed a small dining table just a few steps away from the main dining area. This place has a perfect view of the outdoors while enjoying your food.
Richard's favorite place in the house is their kitchen since he loves to cook. It is fully equipped with complete gas range, range hood, oven, a six-seater bar and other appliances.
This area is kept spotlessly white since Richard cannot stand cockroaches crawling in their house.
The master's bedroom is kept all white to leave a clean and relaxing impression.

The master's bathroom is also kept clean and organized. They also added few cabinets to maximize storage.
The couple's daughter, Juliana have also her personal space which has a similar design to the master's bedroom. A study area was provided for her and a bookshelf to store her books and numerous sports awards.
This is the hallway that leads to Juliana's bedroom. It is designed with shelves that hold pieces of artworks, books, and awards of Richard from his acting career.
The family also placed an outside nook which serves as an extension of the dining area. It is also a perfect place for afternoon snacks since it has the view of the pool.
