Our body needs enough sleep to keep our overall well being. When we sleep, we tend to rest on our most comfortable position as possible. However, by the time we get finally doze off, we unconsciously go into a sleeping position that can have effects on our health.
Here is the list of the different sleeping positions and how they can affect one's health.

This position is also good for your back while your arms are up on both sides. It reduces that chances of getting a headache after sleeping and prevents facial wrinkles.

This is simply by lying on your stomach. It is not the best sleeping position but it has its pros. For example, this position can prevent snoring and back pain. However, it can put a lot of strain on your neck.
4. LOG POSITION
In this position, you lie on your side with your arms both positioned downwards. Lying on your left is the best side position as it allows your vital organs to achieve proper resting position. This is also the position recommended for pregnant women as it increases the amount of blood and nutrients that reach the baby.
5. YEARNER
This position allows you to lie on your side with your legs slightly bent. Arms are stretched with your head slightly off-center. However, this side sleeping can cause arm and shoulder discomfort due to restricted blood flow and pressure on the nerves.
6. FETAL POSITION
Sleeping on your side curled like a ball with your knees drawn near your chest and your chin tilted downward may be comfortable. However, this position can strain your back and neck. Although, this is a perfect position for people who snore.
